I've noticed that the front arms protrude out a bit more than other robots, which is helpful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to collect larger debris like books and broken toys.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've ever tried. It is quieter and doesn't create as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It's easy to install and is effective however, it's something you'll need to be aware of in case you're purchasing this vacuum for the sole purpose of mopping.

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a wide range of features.

The X1 Omni is most notable for its massive dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dustbin and the 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base has several control buttons, which allow you to manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally become so entangled with an obstacle--such as a power cord draped across a rug--that it becomes stuck and stops working until you remove it manually. This was a rare incident however, it was a bit frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert in its application.

Another issue that could be a problem is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during the cleaning process. You will need to manually switch between the two, which isn't an issue aside from the fact that mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between use which could lead to mildew or mold.

On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a big contrast to the utilitarian, all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing view in a market that is dominated by clunky boxy models.
