The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its greatest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often plough right through). It's the first robot to send you a picture of an object that it encounters, so you can instruct the robot to stay clear of it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, removing dirt and spills with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't sweep areas you do not want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it by voice.

While it's not quite as smart as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent option for those who require both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not expensive, and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates and it is sometimes difficult to determine if they are working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for a robot vacuum cleaners automated vacuum that does more than just clean floors, your best rated robot vacuum choice is probably hybrid. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also have a range of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance and even the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be pricey at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock is one of our most loved robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is the least expensive model of their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the expensive features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent choice for vacuum deals those who are willing to compromise to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it an ideal choice for homes that have lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums can really fall short. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is superb as well, with only a few misses in corners and on walls.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go areas or modify your home map or re-label the rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ it comes with a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is easy. It has a large LCD screen that is very useful in setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This feature isn't essential for most people however it can help you to keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design and function are some of the top available - but it's also pricey.

Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and its dimensions are quite small. The station's main selling point is that it can automate many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovac I've tried that does a good job picking up dirt from floors that aren't. It's also not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially in the area of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, which means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It can't navigate stairs as well as competitors,, and it doesn't have a dock that lets you to create a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who want a robot vacuum that does it all.

But if you want to save some money or don't want to think about the limitations of this robot There are many other great choices available with a wide range of eufy models that cost substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper and has more features, including stairs and a fully-function Dock, with an improved overall experience when vacuuming on bare floors carpets, low-pile carpets as well as high-pile carpets.

Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs an area in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.

The way the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its competitors. It uses an integrated map to create an image of the immovable objects in its path. It keeps track of the things it has cleaned and where it cannot access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.

The elegant G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, has a similar battery life, and performs better on unfinished carpet or floors with low pile. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and comes with the boundaries to restrict it from certain areas. The G30 is, on the other hand, is more affordable and is much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating bulky materials like cereal.
